As Resource International, Inc. (Rii) kicks off the celebration of four decades of business, there are countless achievements to summarize. When I was asked to write this blog, I loved going back and compiling the firm’s history, events and successes. With a staggering amount of information, six pages to be concise, I realized that it was going to be impossible to give justice to 40 years of business in a short blog. As a compromise, I compiled “Resource International’s Top 40” to count down and reflect our firm’s history.

Resource International, Inc. (Rii), a leading professional engineering consulting and construction management firm, has received its registration from ASR (American Systems Registrar) after auditors from the Registrar assessed the firm’s quality system and found it to be in compliance with ISO 9001:2008 standards.

Resource International, Inc. (Rii) is proud to announce a new addition to our team, Laith Tashman, PhD, PMP, who will be leading our Asset Management and Pavement Engineering division as Director of Asset Management and Pavement Engineering Services.

A city public utility department (Client) recently contacted me requesting Resource International (Rii) to develop a means of tracking and managing their environmental permits renewals, reporting, and analyses.

Our Columbus-based firm not only weathered well during the recent recession but has achieved more than a 20 percent growth in the employment of engineers and professionals in seven offices throughout the nation. Rii has also experienced substantial growth of its multiple disciplinary services both in diversity and the geographical coverage of services we provide. Rii’s Project Principals manage more than 250 projects annually. I am proud to say that our award-winning GPR and asset management team has provided more than 15 million square feet of bridge deck condition evaluations from New York State to California and many states in between, including thousands of miles of infrastructure survey nationally.
