This project consists
of one mile of new three-lane limited access highway to provide a by-pass
for US Route 42 around the Village of Plane City. Other components on
this project consist of improving the intersection of SR 161 and US 42
by widening and signalizing this intersection, improving about 0.25 miles
of SR 161and US 42 south of the intersection by providing third lane and
curb and gutter and providing new access to Gray Street. Total construction
cost for this project has been estimated to be around $6 million.
