Columbus, Ohio This project involved complete site/civil plans for the 190,000 sq. ft. building addition. Resource prepared plans for complex stormwater detention; sanitary and storm relocations; gas, water and electric utility connections; and grading plans. Resource was also responsible for roadway improvements for Goodale and High Streets. Utility Design and construction included approximately 700 linear feet of 8"-21" sanitary sewer line; 2070 linear feet of 4"-48" stormwater line; 18 manholes and catchbasins; 420 linear feet of 142" x 92" aluminized pipe arch structure for underground detention system. As part of an overall expansion to the convention center, Resource International prepared civil design drawings for a 1.5-acre, 200-space parking lot. They developed plans showing details of the parking lot, including stormwater drainage/detention plans, curbing, sidewalk and paving details. The bid documents were prepared on a rapid schedule with drawings approved by the City of Columbus on schedule. Geotechnical engineering,
subsurface investigations, foundation recommendations, reporting, and
construction testing and inspection were performed as additional services
to the project. |
