Resource recently
completed the Centerburg Local Schools District rebuilding program as
Construction Manager. The project included the construction of a new 135,000
s.f. 6-12 Middle School/High School Facility and additions and renovations
to the existing K-5 Elementary School. The New 6-12 Middle/High School
includes a 560 seat, 12,000 square feet integral Locally Funded Initiative
Performing Arts Center.
As Construction Manager,
Resource provided schematic, design development and construction document
reviews, complete project estimates, value engineering studies, constructability
reviews, project report updates and numerous other pre-construction related
activities. Resource also developed and maintained the project schedule
from pre-design through completion of construction. Resource International
also developed bid packages, conducted pre-bid conferences and conducted
post bid analysis and research. Bids on this project came in 3 percent
under budget.
Resource International
provided full-time, on-site supervision of the project. Specific responsibilities
included contractor management, maintaining and updating construction
schedule, change order review, submittal reviews and approval, project
safety, contractor pay application reviews and submittals, project documentation,
punchlist, owner transition and all other required activities.
