Planning Services

Geotechnical Services
Resource geotechnical engineers and geologists conduct subsurface investigations, hydrogeological and geological studies, settlement and slope stability analysis for establishing soil characteristics for site analysis, planning and site selection for building and infrastructure facilities.

Our field geologists and drillers utilize ATV and mobile drilling equipment to perform field sampling of soil, rock and groundwater, install monitoring wells and conduct groundwater testing for collection of field data for engineering analysis and laboratory testing.

Engineers and certified laboratory technicians conduct soil classification testing in AASHTO accredited laboratories, including specialty testing such as CBR's, consolidation, permeability and unconfined compression tests.

Our geotechnical engineers provide design recommendations and soils reports for soil stabilization, bearing capacities, foundation alternatives, ground stabilization, groundwater and construction considerations for design and construction of facilities.

Environmental
Resource engineers and geologists conduct Phase I and II Site Assessments per ASTM and DOT standards for identification of the potential presence of hazardous materials such as PCB's, asbestos, and lead in soil, water and building materials.

We conduct environmental surveys and testing for removal and remediation of Underground Storage Tanks (UST's) including coordination with regulatory agencies, permitting and closure reports.

We provide environmental services to state and local government agencies, developers, architects, real estate agents and lenders which includes assistance with developing scope of work to meet project objectives, acquiring permits to conduct onsite work, collaboration with regulatory agencies and client representation.

Resource conducts wetland determinations, delineations and permitting through the US Army Corps of Engineers (USCOE) and the Ohio EPA for residential, commercial and industrial sites. Resource performs these services in accordance with the USCOE three parameter (vegetation, hydrology and soils) wetland delineation method.

Survey & Mapping
Resource professional surveyors and field crews perform detailed land surveys for determining and documenting existing site features of topography, locations of buildings, utilities and structures, property corners, boundaries, right of way and easements.

Land surveys are conducted utilizing the latest technology and equipment using data collectors, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Subsurface Utility Equipment (SUE) as well as standard surveying techniques.

CADD generated maps are created for ALTA, boundary and topographic surveys and right of way mapping utilizing both MicroStation and AutoCAD systems by experienced and knowledgeable survey staff.

Professional surveyors prepare legal documents and descriptions for easements, right of way, property deeds, property maps and subdivision plats.

Experienced survey crews perform site control and construction layout work for establishing vertical and horizontal alignments and control prior to and during construction of buildings, utilities and infrastructure.
