Highway Maintenance Management System (HMMS)
Asset Management for Your Entire Roadway Network
HMMS is a centrally implemented
tool for consistent decision making to optimize maintenance strategies
for your entire infrastructure network for a five year planning horizon,
in compliance with established policies. The HMMS is composed mainly of
three components or subsystems, namely, pavements, bridges & structures,
and non-pavement elements. Each of these subsystems is responsible for
managing the maintenance activities for its own subset of highway related
assets. The system also includes a Database Management System which is
responsible for storage of the information required to support each subsystem.
