This project consists of the construction of a 15-story, 500 room Hilton hotel located across High Street from the Franklin County Convention Center. The foundation system consists of 90 drilled shaft deep foundations connected with grade beams and shaft caps. Structural cast-in-place and post-tensioned concrete make up the structure of this projected $93 million construction project. The project also consisted of a new retaining wall along High Street using a post-tensioned tieback anchoring system.

Rii provided construction materials testing and special inspection services for Turner Construction. Rii also performed the subsurface investigation and the preconstruction damage survey. Rii performed special inspections for the drilled shafts, reinforcing steel placement, concrete, concrete floor flatness testing and compaction testing.
